So please note, this hitch is actually designed for models with the dual exhaust. Meaning we have a tailpipe on this side and a tailpipe on this side. If you just have a model with a single exhaust, this hitch isn't gonna work, but we do have other options. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed on our vehicle here. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Ford Flex - Draw-Tite- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2019 Ford Flex, we're going to be installing Draw Tite's Class 3 2 inch Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 75679.This is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. Some of the cross tube is going to be visible underneath the bumper, but some of it's also going to be tucked up behind it.It is a Class 3 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube, so this is going to be great for all of your towing needs.The hole towards the front of the vehicle is going to be for a 5/8 inch hitch pin. Now, one doesn't come included with the hitch, but you can pick on up here at etrailer.com, part number PC3.The smaller hole just to the rear of your hitch pin hole is going to allow it to accommodate a J pin. A J pin has a small peg that will go in that hole. Press up against whatever accessories you may have inside your hitch, and take out any play and prevent any rattles from occurring.It features plate style safety chain loops. They have a large opening, so it will accommodate very large shanks very well. more

Today on our 2014 Ford Flex, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Curt Custom Class 3 trailer hitch receiver. Offering the inch and a quarter but the inch and a quarter opening. It's part number is C13110. Here's a look at the hitch installed on the Flex. You'll see where going to have a short piece of the cross tube that'll be visible here on the drivers side. Little bit longer piece here on the passengers side, it's not a symmetrical hitch but it does serve the purpose very well. Comes up, it' uses existing weld nuts to go into place. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Ford Flex - Curt- Video

Today on our 2012 ford flex we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the curt custom fit class 3 trailer hitch receiver. This offers the 2 inch opening, it's part number C13110. Here's what their hitch looks like installed on the vehicle. As you can see we can get a visual on it from about here over to here. It's not quite symmetrical but in order to get up over our exhaust and stuff that's what's going to be required. We've got a smaller diameter tube here, I like that it's not quite as large as what you get on some of the class 3 hitches. It's going to give us good support. 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, of course. more

Today on our 2009 Ford Flex, well be installing the Curt Trailer Hitch, part number C13110. Now before we begin our installation, here are a few measurements to help you when selecting accessories such as a draw bar, a bike rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost part of the bumper measures 4 inches and from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 13 inches. Now lets go ahead with our install. To begin our installation, well need to lower the exhaust by removing these three isolators. One here behind the muffler, one here just in front of the rear axle and one here about the middle of the vehicle. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Ford Flex - Curt- Video

Today, we'll be installing hitch number 13551 on this 2011 Ford Flex. Before we begin our installation, we'll give you some measurements that will allow you to select a bike rack or a cargo carrier, or other items that you like to install in the hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole out to the farthest part of the rear bumper, we have 3-3/4 inches. From the ground to the top of the receiver opening, we have 12 inches. Now, lets go ahead and install the hitch on the vehicle. The first step in installing the hitch is to remove the M12 bolts on the forward edge of the muffler bracket on each side of the vehicle. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Ford Flex- Video

Today on this 2009 Ford Flex we are going to be installing Draw-Tite Hitch part number 75679. Before we get started with our installation, we are going to go ahead and give you a couple of the final install dimensions which is going to help make choosing your hitch accessories a little bit easier. From the top of the tube receiver opening to the ground is going to measure 12-3/4 inches, and from the center of the pin hole to clear the rear edge of the bumper is going to measure approximately 4 inches. And now we will go ahead and move on to our installation. Okay we are starting off our installation up underneath the vehicle, and the first thing we are going to do is go ahead and lower down the muffler to give us a little bit more working room. To do that if you look here at the end of the frame rail you can see that we've got two bolts into the frame that are holding the rear most muffler bracket onto the frame. more
